How does a duck caretaker ensure the health and well-being of ducks in a farm or sanctuary setting?

Duck caretakers play a crucial role in maintaining the health and comfort of ducks by providing clean water, appropriate feed, and safe living environments. They regularly monitor for signs of illness or distress, maintain sanitary conditions, and may assist with breeding, egg collection, and habitat enrichment. Collaboration with veterinarians and other animal care staff is common to address any health concerns promptly. The role often involves daily routines but can require flexibility to respond to emergencies or seasonal changes in care needs.
