We’re seeking talented and self-motivated software engineers to join the DevTools team in the Developer Experience org. As a DevTools developer, you play a crucial role in boosting the development velocity with advanced and polished developer toolchains.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, deploy, and optimize a set of developer toolings: CI, static code analysis, coding copilot, software release tooling, distributed compile, build/test tooling, code coverage, etc.
  • Proactively pinpoint bottlenecks and weak areas in the daily development workflow, and design, implement and deploy high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineer teams to collect requirements and build in your own technical insights to improve development workflows and toolings.
Qualifications
  • A BS/MS in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience of with developer toolchains, or experience as similar requirement roles, such as Software Engineer in Tools and Infrastructure.>
  • Skilled using well-known toolings such as Bazel, Buildbarn, Clang-tidy, Gitlab, etc.
  • High proficiency in Python.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferences
  • Experience in C++ or Go.
  • Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.
