Responsibilities Design and implement strategies that drive product optimization and efficiency using advanced statistics, machine learning (ML), and programming. Define success metrics and design frameworks to evaluate product performance and business growth, tracking core metrics and understanding root causes of metrics movements. Identify operational and strategic issues through advanced monitoring and forecasting methodologies. Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns in data through probability and statistical analysis and automate the data collection processes, and present information using data visualization techniques. Work with large, complex data sets to solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems by applying advanced analytical methods as needed. Interact cross-functionally, making business recommendations with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information. Mentor interns and junior-level team members.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a PhD degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Analytics (any), Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Analytics (any), Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 4 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: Mining, preparing, cleansing, and analyzing structured data using statistical computing languages SQL, Python, or R for metrics creation, root cause analysis, and model preprocessing; Using SQL queries and data visualization tools to gather, process, visualize, and analyze large quantities of data to detect trends and anomalies in support of business opportunity identification; Developing graphical and visual representations of data using business intelligence tool Excel or Tableau; and Building, tuning, and validating statistical models for regression and classification problems in Python or R. Job Information
[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $206038 - $292600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
