Job description

Join a high volume, tech-savvy print shop as we continue to set the standard for a Progressive, Customer-Focused, and -- most importantly -- employee-friendly journey.

Bumperactive.com Custom Stickers + Tees is hiring a hard-working DTG Associate for our team! We are hiring a seasonal/temporary member to join our team-oriented, detail-minded and efficient staffers to join our digital apparel production department.

Bumperactive is a Union (Communications Workers of America Local #6132) print shop in North Austin. We are a full-service retail printer for anyone who needs top-quality custom stickers, tees, signs and other promotional products. We serve Austin's vibrant community of bands, artists and local businesses, and our specialty is printing for Progressive candidates, causes and organizations.

Summary

We are currently seeking a Seasonal Direct-To-Garment Printer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with little to no experience in DTG printing or heat pressing but possess a strong willingness to learn and a passion for delivering exceptional results. As a Seasonal DTG Printer, you will be responsible for operating DTG printers and heat presses to produce high-quality printed apparel according to customer specifications. Employee skills include a high attention to detail, organization, strong focus in a fast-paced production environment, and ability to perform repetitive tasks

Please also note: We cannot guarantee that this position will exist after Election Day, November 3rd, 2026.

Responsibilities:

Operate DTG Printing Equipment: Utilize DTG printing machinery to produce high-quality prints on various apparel items according to customer specifications.

Prepare Printing Materials: Prepare garments and printing materials such as inks, pretreatment solutions, and substrates for printing processes.

Quality Control: Inspect printed garments for quality defects and ensure that each item meets the established quality standards.

Follow Production Schedule: Adhere to production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

Workspace Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the printing area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Adhere to Safety Procedures: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.

Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues, brainstorm solutions, and improve overall workflow efficiency.
