Job description

The Ecommerce Associate Planner supports the financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for Jansport and Eastpak's Ecommerce business in North America.
This role partners closely with the Buying, Digital, Marketing, and Finance teams to help deliver accurate forecasts, insightful reporting, and clean execution of the Ecommerce strategy. The Associate Planner plays a key role in day-to-day trading support, promotional analysis, and inventory visibility-helping ensure the right product is available online at the right time to meet customer demand.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Planning & Forecasting Support
  • Support seasonal and monthly Ecommerce sales and inventory planning, including forecasts, reporting, and plan updates.
  • Assist in maintaining rolling forecasts by analyzing traffic, conversion, AOV, promotional activity, and sales trends.
  • Track performance versus plan and flag risks and opportunities to the broader

Inventory & Promotion Analysis
  • Monitor SKU-level sales and inventory performance to support full-price selling and minimize markdown exposure.
  • Assist with promotional setup, performance tracking, and post-promo analysis to inform future decisions.
  • Support new product launches by tracking early performance and identifying opportunities to adjust inventory or demand plans.

Reporting & Business Insights
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Ecommerce and DTC reporting including sales, margin, inventory, and key KPIs.
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis to support Ecommerce, Digital, and Buying partners.
  • Help document seasonal hindsight and key learnings to support continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Buying, Digital, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
  • Support allocation and replenishment activities as needed to ensure online inventory availability.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively, ensuring alignment on assumptions and priorities.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Additionally, while formal education like a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-3 years of experience and professional achievements.

Hiring Range:
$60,280.00 USD - $75,350.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
