Job description

HOMEBOUND SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICE PROVIDER
POSITION DETAILS:

Hours: 3-5 hours per week plus prep time; Flexible scheduling

Salary: $32.12 per hour; Schedule D (pg 51) of the DTA Master Agreement

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide direct special education instruction to student receiving homebound/home-based services in
    academic, functional, behavioral, and/or social emotional areas
  • Implement IEP goals, accommodations, modifications, and related instructional supports in the
    homebound setting.
  • Collaborate with families, general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators
    to ensure continuity of education programming.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of instructional services,
    attendance, progress toward IEP goals, and communicate with stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • An appropriate MN Special Education teaching license or the ability to attain one.
