The OEM Sales Manager, Americas is responsible for the definition & implementation of a regional sales strategy for the region Americas (North & South America) as well as the activity and development of OEM client relationships and OEM Sales staff of DT Swiss, Inc. They will exercise continuous, detailed & proactive engagement with OEM accounts and Sales staff in order to adhere to and cooperate with centralized global objectives and processes, leading to sustained OEM sales performance and growth for DT Swiss, Inc. and DT Swiss globally.
• Creation and lead execution of Americas-specific OEM Sales activities within global guidelines
• Coach your team to succeed in execution of Americas-specific Sales activities within global guidelines, developing their knowledge, skills, and abilities through training
• Participate dynamically and continually in global sales calls, meetings & conferences to achieve the overall global sales goals, reporting on Americas OEM performance in a fact-based, data-oriented fashion and method
• Remain in regular & proactive communication with the client base assigned
• Travel to key clients frequently to maintain strong personal relationships (50% of your time)
• Participate daily in the maintenance and updating of the CRM process
• Maintain a high level of understanding as to what our competitors are doing within the market
• Perform sales related project tasks as assigned by Management
THESE CHARACTERISTICS DISTINGUISH YOU
• Bachelor's degree related to business or sales required
• Previous relevant work experience may substitute for the education requirement
• Customer relationship management (CRM) experience required
• Proven track record in B2B sales of technical products is required
• Required computer skills include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams and CRM system (SAP C4C skills preferred)
• SAP, or other large enterprise resource planning (ERP) software experience is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or German a plus
• Work experience in an international organization is a plus
• Technical knowledge of cycling products required
• Knowledge of the cycling industry is preferred
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to sit or stand for at least 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
