Class A Commercial Driver

We are a growing company with a large fleet, currently seeking hard-working, dependable drivers to join our team. Commercial Drivers are critical members of our team, ensuring safe travel on America’s highways. If you love working independently and thrive on long hours on the road, this challenging position is right for you!

We are looking for full-time Class A commercial drivers in Lapeer, MI who have experience in:

  • operating and driving trucks with gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds
  • towing weights above 10,000 pounds
  • securely and properly attaching tractor units to the trailer hitch
  • maintaining detailed driving and delivery logs
  • performing regular inspections and necessary vehicle maintenance (oil, fuel, tire pressure, etc.)
  • ensuring load contents are securely packed and organized
  • following delivery and rest schedules
  • maneuvering and parking tractor-trailers
  • navigating routes with GPS and/or other routing systems 

Applicants must:

  • possess and maintain a valid Class A drivers license
  • pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check
  • maintain a regular, dependable attendance record
  • be able to work variable hours which may include weekends, holidays and overtime
  • be able to lift 50 pounds
  • be able to operate an electric lift, hand truck, and pallet jack
