Job description

We are hiring! Multiple positions available! Starting at $18.75/hour.
Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities now available.
2nd shift (afternoon/evening) and 3rd shift (overnight).
Do you want an opportunity to serve with compassion and help others in our community? We seek patient and dedicated caregivers to assist adults with developmental disabilities in their neighborhood group homes. Our Caregivers / DSPs provide support to adults living in CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements) with around-the-clock care. Developmental Foundations, a family-owned company providing quality residential services since 1986, is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Caregivers / DSPs for our group homes in Charleston, IL.

Pay:
  • $18.75/hour

  • DSP training is provided and paid. Once trained, you will become a certified DD Aide and will be added to the Health Care Worker Registry (HCWR)

Qualifications:
  • DSP or CNA experience beneficial, but not required
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required

Requirements:
  • High school completion or equivalency- high school diploma, signed high school transcript including graduation date or G.E.D. required
  • Successfully complete and pass background check required
  • Weekend/holiday availability may be required
