Description DSHS Lakeland Village - Attendant Counselor 1/Direct Support Professional Are you a compassionate, dedicated direct care professional seeking a rewarding career in healthcare. Lakeland Village Residential Habilitation Center has immediate openings for Direct Support Professionals on all shifts. In this role, you'll coach, teach, and mentor adults in a supportive, home-like environment alongside a team dedicated to making a difference. You'll follow Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) and Nursing Home regulations as part of an interdisciplinary team, promoting quality care and preventing abuse or neglect.

Some of what you will do: Assist adults with personal care needs, including hygiene, grooming, bathing, and toileting.

Provide direct care, support, and individualized training tailored to each resident. Actively engage residents in learning opportunities that promote independence and daily living skills. Support individuals with complex care needs through compassionate and consistent intervention.

Professionals with a High School Diploma/GED OR one year of experience working with people with Intellectual/developmental Disabilities. An existing Washington State Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus but not required. Additional information: Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate.
