SABG is hiring an Advanced Strategic Planning Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director of Staff Facilities (DSF) Directorate in Huntsville, Alabama. The Advanced Analyst will support Agency Executives and Senior Leaders with day-to-day mission planning. JOB TITLE: Analyst (Advanced) CLEARANCE:Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance LOCATION: Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal), full time on-site ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. * Responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all battle rhythm events for the Director of Staff Facilities (DSF) Directorate, Missile Defense Agency
* Enables information sharing through distribution of executive summaries and meeting products for all updates involving the DSF leadership team and its subordinate elements
* Provides quality control on staff packets going to the leadership team and serves as the alternate for all tasks involving DSF
* Provides the Director and Deputy Director with executive support, shares observations, and makes recommendations for improving staff processes SUPERVISION:This position has supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Capable of providing expertise in Strategic Planning, Programmatic and Communication techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems. Mid-level working knowledge, skills and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Demonstrates initiative and the ability to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience in administrative/business field; AA and 8 years' experience in administrative/business field; or 15 years' experience in administrative/business field.
* Possess 3+ years' experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (Senior Executive Service (SES) or Flag Officer).
* Demonstrated advanced capabilities executing day-to-day office operations and mission planning associated with senior executive level leadership including serving as an advisor and assisting with detailed planning of complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.
* Proficient in advanced analytical thinking; working in a teaming environment developing corporate strategies, goals and objectives and briefing recommendations to senior leaders.
* Advanced level experience planning, facilitating and conducting executive-level activities.
* Proficient in preparing, reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence.
* Must possess exceptionally strong analytical skills to conduct planning and analysis, and trend analysis.
* Advanced level experience planning, facilitating and conducting organizational studies and presenting results and recommendations to senior leaders.
* Proficient in researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials (e.g. briefings, papers, read-ahead documentation).
* Must possess high levels of communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, organization, and presentation skills.
* MDA and ETMS2 knowledge and experience are pluses.
* Able to assume ownership of projects, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure successful execution.
* Prior experience serving in a senior enlisted leadership role, such as a First Sergeant, Command Sergeant Major, or equivalent leadership position, is highly desirable. COMPUTER SKILLS: * Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
* Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) B
* Proficiency in data visualization applications (MS Power BI) is a plus. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
