People Experience Advisor, DSD is responsible for local execution of People Services Operations at our Warehouse Locations. The PEA would be the key point of contact to People Leads, Managers, Logistics Coordinators and Employees on processes within the People Services scope and will support implementation of local projects or initiatives to improve overall People Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate as the point of contact for key People Services (PS) Work Processes at the branches; Manage Escalations and identify and resolve PS opportunities in collaboration with People Lead team

Standardize local processes and establish SOPs to drive down DSD wide losses related to Leave Management, Payroll, Benefits, Absenteeism Management etc. in collaboration with site teams

Customize and drive PS capability needs for each unit and partner with local teams to drive Capability efforts for all audiences- People Managers, Logistics Coordinators as well as core teams

Lead project governance for the branches on PS Workstreams: Implement changes, Plan key interventions to drive Self-Service leveraging Digital avenues like mobile and kiosk platforms, Periodic stakeholder updates and communication

Lead and be Accountable to establish a governance on People Data and Analytics related to PS workstreams; Using data, engage branch leadership teams and People Leads on key losses and develop a Master Plan to Zero Losses.

Travel required to Branches/ HQ/ DSD locations across the regions based on project/ business needs (up to 20% of time)

PEA supporting Pac Mountain, Mountain South and Great Lakes Regions to be located on-site in Ontario, California branch, or Schertz, TX branch while also supporting other branches and offices within the region

Data and Analytics- Proficient in working with various People data, metrics and reports and/or People Analytic Tools; Ability to derive insights into trends and causalities to eliminate losses; High Proficiency in MS Excel and/or similar tools and programs

Root Cause Mindset- Ability to analyze problems down to the root cause and balance between immediate fixes and developing long term systemic solutions to frequently occurring problems processes and enhance our capabilities.

Stakeholder Engagement- Ability to influence and engage all relevant stakeholders to identify key drivers and enroll in action plans

Design Thinking- Solving problems by prioritizing the consumer's needs and driving an efficient Change Management approach to major interventions at the site

Other Competencies- Preferred experience with People Services platforms like Service Now, Workday, ADP and/or Time and Attendance Systems

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or high school diploma and equivalent work experience

1 to 3 years of experience in HR operations, Employee Relations, Time & Attendance Systems

Prior experience working in a manufacturing/ Warehouse/ Retail environment required

Experience managing variety of stakeholders both salaried and hourly

Strong Acumen in Data Analysis, HR reporting and working with various HR solution systems

Salary and Benefits:The base salary range for this position is $69,300 to $87,603; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
