Your Role at Acousti
You will play a key role in the installation of drywall and wallboards for commercial and industrial projects. You will be responsible for ensuring precise installation according to project specifications while working efficiently to meet deadlines. In this role, you will contribute directly to the success of our company by ensuring efficient operations and delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our dynamic team and play a key part in supporting our day-to-day operations, ensuring our high standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Measure and cut drywall materials to fit specific spaces
• Hang drywall on ceilings and walls using nails or screws for secure fastening
• Ensure all seams are straight and corners are square and even
• Inspect completed work to verify alignment with project blueprints and design
• Work on scaffolding, aerial lifts, ladders, and stilts as required
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, powder-actuated tools, and lasers to complete tasks
• Maintain construction schedules and coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines
• Work both indoors and outdoors as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by your manager
What We're Looking for in You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• Experience in commercial drywall hanging
• Knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and layout plans for drywall installation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to perform tasks under minimal supervision
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day • Reliable transportation and own tools
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the above, we would prefer candidates with:
• Experience supervising construction teams
• Prior experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects

Education Requirements
Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
