Tri City Drywall has been a trusted drywall contractor serving Colorado Springs since 1972. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Operations Manager to lead projects, manage field teams, and ensure high-quality results from start to finish. What You'll Do

  • Manage daily field operations for multiple commercial drywall projects.
  • Lead field crews, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Coordinate schedules, labor, materials, and equipment to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct job site visits and resolve field challenges
  • Review blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Work closely with general contractors, builders, and customers
  • Monitor labor productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Support hiring, training, and development of field employees.
  • Manage budgets, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Attend project meetings and maintain excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial drywall with proven leadership managing crews, subcontractors, and multiple active projects.
  • Strong understanding of drywall installation, finishing, metal stud framing, and acoustical ceilings.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
  • Experience scheduling labor and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; construction management software experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial construction projects.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of estimating and project budgeting.
