Job description

Job Title: Tender (Century machine)
WAGE RANGE: $15.50 per hour (Plus $2/hr. Night Shift Premium, if applicable)
($37,200 to $42,000 annually)
DEPARTMENT: Production - Forrester Rd.
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
Job Summary:
Assist the System Technician in maintaining Infusion and Extraction equipment and process.
Deliverables:
Keep Extractor/Infuser/Dryer equipment clean and monitored to prevent unscheduled downtime.
Job Requirements:
High-level communications skills both verbal and written.
Have the ability to:
Trouble shoot and assist with repairs, understand system flow, trace flow path, monitor process set points, react to system alarms, record and review data, interpret data collected, work flexible workdays and work hours depending on demands of the company or process, work holidays and weekends on a rotating shift schedule. Must become qualified in the following within one month’s time from hire date:
• Chemical training, Lock out Tag out process, computer data entry process, process testing (including Brix and acid)
Job Duties:
• Add ingredients as directed by the System Technician
• Maintain in-feed belts from weigh belt to infusion oscillator feed to the dryer.
• Daily clean of catch pans, belts, troughs, sprayers, guards and tanks per written documentation requirements.
• Daily clean of plastic over spray guards on extractor
• Removal and document all waste from extractor and infusion area
• Responsible for any ingredient addition to system
• Clean and maintain proper flow of infusion troughs on Infuser
• Maintain an organized clean space
• Assist, as needed, in cleaning the process line
Physical Requirements:
Able to use ladders, working on elevated platforms and working at different elevations.
Must be able to see/differentiate all primary colors.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
