Job description

7pm-7am
Pay Rate: $21.11 +$1.50 Shift Differential

· Ability to flex to other roles as needed to help the flow of material through the Drying process.

· TPMs are a part of every position in the mill. This may include mandatory overtime for completion of TPM tasks.

· Additional duties as assigned.

SAFETY:

· Position is exposed to several moving chains, sprockets, and belts. Hands should be kept clear of any unguarded nip point and incidences should be reported to the dryer tender or leadman immediately.

· Position should complete LOTO training.

· Safety glasses, hearing protection, and area appropriate gloves must be worn.

· Ability to lift at minimum 25 lbs.

· Because of the potential for fire, the area should be kept as clean as possible.

QUALITY:

· Proper feeding of the dryer is essential to preventing plug-ups.

· Position must be fed per the standard work.

· The veneer must be graded properly and stacked neatly to provide full utilization and proper panel construction.

· Removes trash from loads on dryer stackers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Entry Level Computer Skills. (Auto Grading)

· Position must be able to work from detailed instructions. This individual makes minor decisions.

· Regular work with lightweight materials is involved, but occasional work with moderate weight materials may also be required.

· Position requires continuous mental and visual attention, and the individual usually works in short, repetitive cycles.
