Job description

Job Overview: E&R Laundry and Dry Cleaners is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Associates to join our team! Great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with attention to quality and detail.


Full-Time, Monday through Friday (4/5am start - finish) with weekends off.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Check in garments in computer system according to each bundle
  • Check garments for any items in pockets, garment defects, unbutton blouses, etc.
  • Sort laundry and place in specific categories
  • Standing, or working "on your feet" for extended periods of time.
  • Basic computer use.
  • Maintain company standards of performance and comply with all.
  • standard policies, safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties, as assigned: Willingness and ability to work in any area or department within the plant, based upon business needs and as assigned by management.

Additionally, the individual will have the following characteristics:

  • Capable of working in a warehouse environment, with elevated temperatures, fluctuating temperatures, loud noises, and moving machinery.
  • Capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis.
  • Team player with the skill set to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Must be able to read and write the English language.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.

Pay: Up to $19.50 per hour
