Schedule Available: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM, NO WEEKENDS!
Starting pay is $17.00 an hour with a $1,000 signing bonus.
Job Overview: Operates Industrial laundering, dry cleaning, and steam pressing machines in conjunction with other work such as sorting, spotting, folding, and pressing. Applies high guest service standards.
Create Your Path: The Work You'll Do:
  • Sorts articles into lots of equal weight, color, and type while picking out those that may need hand spotting or treatment of stains and loads into dry cleaning machine.
  • Operates all dry cleaning equipment including various dry cleaning machines, presses,
  • washers, dryers, a steam tunnel and computer. Responsible for entering the programs for all programmable machines.
  • Irons and presses clean articles, or sends them to the finishing section where the garments are pressed by steam.
  • Checks and inspects garments to make sure customer requirements have been met.
  • Determines how best to process garments based on the makeup.
  • Cleans dry cleaning area, bathrooms, break room and janitor's closet.
  • Performs basic maintenance on dry cleaning and pressing equipment.
  • Maintains and replaces dry cleaning solution.
  • Occasional Tasks:
    • Assists with inventory
    • Cleans areas soiled by bloodborne pathogens and bacteria.
    • Assists in the Laundry Area
    • Organizes storage rooms

Job Requirements:
  • Requires the ability to distinguish and sort colors.
  • Capacity to handle and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Proficiency in maintaining safety while handling potential fumes, chemicals, odors, and/or noise.
  • Ability to move in a variety of motions including bending, squatting, crawling, kneeling, twisting, pulling, and/ or pushing.
  • Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, including on feet 95% of time.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
