Job Title: Presser & Delivery Driver (HIRING IMMEDIATELY!)


Position Overview: Lapels Dry Cleaning is seeking a dedicated, career-focused individual to join our team in a dual role combining responsibilities as both a Presser and Delivery Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent multitasking skills. Additionally, a flexible schedule and a passion for providing exceptional service are essential. This role offers the chance to work with a well-known dry-cleaning business while developing professionally in both the dry cleaning and logistics industries. Expect your average workday to switch back and forth between pressing and delivery, depending on the volume of orders.


Key Responsibilities:

Presser Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed all pressing standards for quality and efficiency.
  • Work with your team to provide same-day dry cleaning and laundry wash/dry/fold services.
  • Ensure each garment is pressed, steamed, and packaged to company standards.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Assist with any additional duties as assigned.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and deliver garments and other textile products to customers' homes and businesses in a timely and professional manner.
  • Actively promote Lapels Dry Cleaning services to homeowners and businesses to help grow and expand our delivery routes.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers through exceptional service and communication.
  • Manage the logistics of daily routes, ensuring all pickups and deliveries are completed efficiently.
  • Work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry, housekeeping, or general labor is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver, service manager, route driver, or in logistics is highly preferred.
  • Clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Speaking Spanish would be an asset.
  • Strong face-to-face communication skills and a professional appearance.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be trainable, motivated and eager to grow professionally in the dry cleaning and logistics industry.
