Job description

A part-time Pharmacist in Charge position is available for a 13-week contract assignment in Clearwater, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with experience in handling high prescription volumes seeking flexible scheduling options.
Location: • Clearwater, Florida
Schedule/Hours: • Part-time, approximately 20-24 hours per week • 1st shift preferred, with flexible scheduling options for days or mid-shifts
Responsibilities: • Verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently • Handling inbound calls from patients and physician offices regarding medication inquiries • Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards • Managing prescription volume ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 scripts per day • Utilizing DRx pharmacy software for processing and record-keeping
Qualifications/Desired Experience: • Current and clear Pharmacist license in both Florida and California • Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed pharmacist • Strong communication skills to effectively manage patient and provider inquiries • Ability to work accurately under a high-volume prescription environment • Familiarity with DRx software is an advantage
