Purpose and Objective:
Concur Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Developer at our Plano, TX location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of complex IT product features.
Expectations and Tasks:
Provides IT application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications of project plans. Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and support others in resolving issues. Show initiative and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency. Work closely together with others and share expertise to ensure product success. Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills. Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Has advanced overall product and technical knowledge and shares expertise within and across team and organization. Has advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:

  • PHP including Symfony;
  • Database Management including MySQL and MariaDB;
  • Developing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs, including integrating external services;
  • DevOps and CI/CD;
  • Advanced Security and Scalability;
  • Strategic Leadership in Multi-disciplinary Teams including design, development, marketing, and business stakeholders;
  • Migration and Data Integration including handling complex data structures, maintaining data integrity, and using advanced migration tools and techniques; and
  • Headless Development including the ability to design and implement modern, scalable, and interactive front-end solutions.

License/Certification required:
  • Acquia Certification Back End Specialist - Drupal 9;
  • Acquia Certificate Developer - Drupal 9; and
  • Acquia Certified Front End Specialist - Drupal 9.

The targeted combined range for this position is $156,998 - $271,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
