Job description

Mission Statement
Michigan Medicine improves the health of patients, populations and communities through excellence in education, patient care, community service, research and technology development, and through leadership activities in Michigan, nationally and internationally. Responsibilities*
Initiate and perform all basic respiratory care techniques including, but not limited to blood bas analysis, equipment rounds, compressed gas therapy, basic ventilator parameters, trained in Cardio-Pulmonary Association standards, administers medication including: antibilotic bronchodilators. Stock designated ares with respiratory care equipment.
Required Qualifications*
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Some laboratory experience or patient care experience.

Desired Qualifications*
  • Acceptance in a Respiratory Therapy Program or previous respiratory therapy experience
  • A higher degree in science.
