Aggregate Driver - Powder Truck, Full-Time 

This is an opportunity with significant impact on our Folsom Ready Mix business! Does being out on the open road get you excited? While it takes some great people to serve our customers from the inside, our Driver jobs are for those who want to be outside serving our customers! A Folsom Ready Mix Powder Truck Driver is a great opportunity whether you are looking to spend your career with us as a Driver, want to get your foot in the door with us to explore other careers at some point, or just want to earn some extra income – We welcome you!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Transport and deliver cement powder, to plant during daylight and/or nighttime hours by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skills.
  • Vehicle maintenance: performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspection, checking vehicle fluid levels daily and adds fluids if necessary.
  • Required to keep the vehicle clean inside the cab and the exterior of the vehicle using proper wash down procedures.
  • Able to effectively use computer table and IOT devices.

What you'll need:

  • Minimum 18 years of age with High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License, with a double/triples.
  • Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and physical and be subject to random drug testing in accordance with Company/Federal testing requirements.
  • Ability to bend to ground-level and reach to upper levels with use of a ladder and the stamina to stand and walk for most of the work shift, and lift upwards of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform simple math, e.g., addition, subtraction, etc.
  • Clear English speaking/writing and attentive listening skills.
  • Driving, using maps and directions.
  • Ability to be flexible with your schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
