The Advanced Practice Provider Residencyoffers new Nurse Practitioner and Physician Associate graduates the opportunity to gain critical job experience in an out-patient primary health care clinic and rich work environment while deepening learning through collaboration with our highly qualified healthcare provider team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current Oregon state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
  • DEA license.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to perform the following physical requirements with or without an accommodation:

  • In-person work during normal clinic hours.
  • Remain in a stationary position frequently during the day while performing clinical and administrative duties.
  • Move or traverse frequently during the day throughout clinic to perform clinical and administrative duties.
  • Operate equipment frequently during the day using a computer, clinical and lab equipment.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and accurately so others will understand; ability to interact with patients and staff clearly.
  • Able to move or transport up to 25 pounds while using equipment and providing patient care.
  • Work indoors in heat-controlled environment 100% of the day.
  • OSHA Exposure Category Category #1: Possible job-related exposure to blood and/or body fluids. Requires the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
