Job description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for providing QA support to the manufacturing and packaging process. ย This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

ย Responsibilities:
โ€ข ย  ย Additional duties as assigned
โ€ข ย  ย Maintain and control electronic and non-electronic documents according to SOPs
โ€ข ย  ย Monitors associatesโ€™ adherence to cGMPs.ย 
โ€ข ย  ย Thoroughly audit all production records and determine batch disposition
โ€ข ย  ย Performs set-up and in-process testing to ensure products meet specificationsย 
โ€ข ย  ย Verifies cleanliness of rooms and equipment visually and by ATP testing
โ€ข ย  ย Performs AQL testing when required
โ€ข ย  ย Performs swabbing for environmental monitoringย 
โ€ข ย  ย Reviews document to ensure compliance to GMPS
โ€ข ย  ย Maintains the storage of retain samples and batch records
โ€ข ย  ย Involved in determining root cause for quality issues
โ€ข ย  ย Coordinates and supports various quality functions and projects as needed
โ€ข ย  ย Interact between departments for quality purposesย 
โ€ข ย  ย Data entry of quality data into computerย 
โ€ข ย  ย Filing of all quality testing


Qualifications:
โ€ข ย  ย Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
โ€ข ย  ย High School Diploma is required, Associateโ€™s degree is preferredย 
โ€ข ย  ย Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office is requiredย 
โ€ข ย  ย Minimum of 1 year experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing setting is requiredย 
โ€ข ย  ย Project management skills are a plus
โ€ข ย  ย Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and organization skillsย 
โ€ข ย  ย  Must be able to multi-task
โ€ข ย  ย  Ability to work autonomously
โ€ข ย  ย All other duties as assignedย

โ€ข ย  ย Must be able to stand for 8 hours
โ€ข ย  ย Must be able to work in a physically challenging environmentย
