Job description

Secure Testing Services (STS) — Las Vegas Metro Area

Part-Time / Per Diem | Flexible Schedule | Growth & Commission Opportunity

Join a National Industry Leader Expanding in Las Vegas

Secure Testing Services (STS) is a privately owned, nationally recognized leader in workplace drug and alcohol testing and compliance services, trusted by employers across the United States for accuracy, professionalism, and reliability. Unlike many competitors in the industry, STS operates under a 100% employee-based model—never contractors—ensuring consistent quality control, accountability, and service excellence at every client site.

We are now expanding our established national footprint into the Las Vegas metropolitan area and are seeking a dependable, professional, and motivated Part-Time / Per Diem Drug & Alcohol Testing Technician to support our growing Nevada operations.

STS is not a startup or an unproven market entrant. We already support multiple national contracts and long-standing client relationships across the country, and we are strategically building a strong, permanent presence in Las Vegas.

For the right individual, this role can remain a flexible per-diem opportunity—or evolve into a significantly expanded career path within a growing national organization.

What You’ll Do

Depending on experience and training, responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting on-site urine drug-screen collections
  • Performing breath alcohol testing
  • Completing DOT and non-DOT testing documentation
  • Traveling to client workplaces and testing locations throughout the Las Vegas metro area
  • Providing professional, confidential, and courteous service to employees and client representatives
  • Responding to scheduled and, when available, short-notice testing assignments
  • Maintaining accurate chain-of-custody documentation and testing records

Prior drug-testing experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Want to Do More? There’s Room to Grow. We are especially interested in individuals who want to grow with a respected national company as we expand in Nevada. A motivated candidate may have the opportunity to expand into business development and client relationship responsibilities, including helping introduce STS to local employers and developing new accounts. Business generated through these efforts would include commission-based compensation in addition to technician earnings. In other words: you can remain focused on field testing work—or take an active role in helping build the Las Vegas market and share in that growth.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Professional, dependable, and trustworthy
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Excellent with customers and client representatives
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow strict testing procedures
  • Comfortable traveling throughout the Las Vegas metropolitan area
  • Flexible regarding scheduling and occasional short-notice assignments
  • Interested in being part of a rapidly expanding, nationally respected organization
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Willingness to travel outside the Las Vegas area is a significant plus. STS operates nationally, and opportunities for regional and out-of-market assignments may be available.

About Secure Testing Services

Secure Testing Services is a privately owned, employee-only national drug and alcohol testing and compliance company providing on-site services to employers throughout the United States.

We are widely respected in the industry for our commitment to consistency, compliance integrity, and operational excellence, supported by a workforce of trained employees—not independent contractors. This model allows us to maintain strict quality standards and deliver a higher level of service reliability to our clients nationwide. We specialize in bringing testing directly to the workplace—helping organizations reduce downtime, simplify compliance, and keep their employees on the job. As we expand our footprint in Nevada, we are looking for individuals who don’t simply want a job. We are looking for people who want to grow with a nationally trusted organization.

Position: Part-Time / Per Diem Drug & Alcohol Testing Technician

Location: Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, Nevada

Potential Growth: Business Development | Commission Opportunities | Regional/National Travel

If you are dependable, professional, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of a respected national company during an exciting period of expansion, we’d like to hear from you.

Las Vegas, competition beware — STS is on the way.
