As part of the legal community since 1975, Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLC provides the highest caliber legal counsel in a broad range of practice areas. The Firm is seeking a part-time clerk/runner for our Memphis, Tennessee office. The schedule for the part-time position would be midday - 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday, approximately 20-25 hours per week. Essential Functions:

  • Pick-up/delivery of interoffice items such as files, interoffice envelopes, outgoing mail etc.
  • Sort/distribute incoming mail.
  • Apply postage to outgoing mail.
  • Pick-up/drop off mail from local post office.
  • Drop off packages to overnight boxes.
  • Complete copy/scan/fax jobs as needed.
  • Bind documents when requested.
  • Various driving errands such as court filings, deliveries to other law firms, etc.
  • Pick-up lunch orders for meetings as needed.
  • Answer the phone as needed.
  • Other duties may be may be assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • This position requires that the employee be able to lift boxes up to approximately 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk up/down stairs.
  • Must have reliable transportation, driver's license and proof of insurance for driving errands.
