Electrical Engineer - CUxS (Counter-UAS Interceptor Drones)
Location: 6501 E Apache St, Tulsa, OK 74115 | Contract | 9/80 Schedule | 8am Start
About the Role:
Join L3Harris's innovative Counter-UAS Systems Engineering team as an Electrical Design Engineer, specializing in advanced interceptor drone technology. Lead the development and integration of cutting-edge electrical and electronic systems, driving fast-paced production and continuous improvement. This role offers direct impact on national security projects, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to mentor and grow within a high-tech environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and integration of electrical power systems for interceptor drone platforms.
- Conduct electrical load analysis, create engineering drawings, and prepare comprehensive design documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, systems engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure design objectives are met.
- Support rapid production line operations by implementing design enhancements and resolving electrical issues to maintain efficient workflow.
- Incorporate feedback from field operations and testing into ongoing product and process improvements.
- Generate and present technical reports and analysis to internal leadership and external customers.
- Provide coaching and technical guidance to junior engineers and production support staff.
