Job Summary
We are seeking Driving Instructors to join our team! Full-time or part-time, in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington & Westmoreland counties.   As our Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for preparing students to take to the road safely, including teaching rules and regulations, proper vehicle handling and maintenance, and all basic safety guidelines. You will also help students get comfortable behind the wheel and apply their knowledge in a practical way. The ideal candidate is comfortable teaching/coaching, has extensive knowledge of driving safety and rules, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are currently certified as a driving instructor through the PA Department of Education you will receive a hiring bonus after 6 months.  All other applicants will need to pass a written test conducted by the PA Department of Education and a road test conducted by PennDOT.  This process would take at least 4 weeks to complete prior to working.  We will pay for the background checks and provide tutoring for the written test.

Responsibilities 
  • Get behind the wheel with students and help them implement their knowledge in a safe and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with students and guardians, and provide additional recommendations on future driving practices
Qualifications
  • Valid license and clean driving record required
  • Previous experience as a driving instructor desired
  • Strong understanding of driving rules and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Must pass the Pa Department of Education knowledge test and PennDOT road test
