Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Driver Manager in Atlanta, GA to ensure successful execution of customer freight delivery through effective driver management. The Driver Manager will act as a link between the business, our drivers and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Make safety-conscious decisions that ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Balance the needs of our customers, drivers and the business.
  • Provide continuous, structured and proactive performance management and coaching to drivers.
  • Manage driver payroll and home time.
  • Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement creative solutions to improve retention and drive business.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with a variety of teams, both internally and externally.
