In addition to driving, they may handle loading and unloading cargo, checking delivery documentation, and maintaining their vehicles. Drivers must follow safety regulations and efficient routes to meet delivery schedules. This role is essential for businesses that rely on the movement of goods for their operations.

Drivers in logistics often encounter challenges such as navigating tight delivery schedules, adapting to changing routes due to traffic or weather conditions, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. To prepare, it's important to develop strong time management skills, become familiar with navigation and route optimization tools, and stay updated on industry regulations. Effective communication with dispatchers and warehouse staff also helps in resolving issues quickly and maintaining efficient workflows.
