Stone Warehouse of Michigan is a leading distributor of natural stone and quartz products. We are currently seeking a reliable, professional CDL Driver to join our team for a dedicated local route in Sterling Heights, MI and surrounding areas.
This is a 4-week contract position with the possibility of extension, based on business needs and performance.
Job Responsibilities- Safely operate a company vehicle on local and dedicated routes.
- Deliver products to customers and job sites throughout the surrounding area.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Complete required delivery and vehicle documentation.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Follow all DOT, company, and safety requirements.
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Must provide 10 years of employment/driving history as required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Minimum of 2 professional references required.
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Day shift
- Overtime may be available/required based on business needs.
