Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive trucks safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Read and follow location and road maps to determine the best routes.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Load and unload cargo using a Crane operator (HMO license required).
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
  • Maintain and verify delivery paperwork for accuracy.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Assist the Yard Foreman with warehouse and yard duties when not driving.

Qualifications:

  • CDL Class A license (required).
  • Valid Hoisting Machine Operator (HMO) license (required).
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction.
  • Experience handling heavy equipment and oversized loads.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to lift and secure heavy loads.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
