  • The District's Transportation department only provides busing for Special Education, athletic events and activities
  • The department maintains a fleet of 13 buses, which includes 7 large activity buses, 2 small activity buses, and 4 special education buses

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Pass annual Colorado Department of Education School Bus Operators Test (written and skills)
  • Must have (or be willing to get) and maintain a CDL license with passenger and school bus endorsement
  • Successful completion of Department of Transportation Entry Level Driver Training and the Colorado CDL written and driving test (District paid training)
  • Must be able to meet Federal Department of Transportation physical and drug testing requirements
  • Must have(or be willing to get) and maintain CPR certification
  • Criminal background check required for hire
  • Valid Colorado driver's license
  • Meet District's requirements for insurability
  • Must pass US Department of Transportation medical examination
