Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Driver Relations, performs various tasks related to assisting motor coach drivers in the performance of their duties.
TYPICAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain open door policy for all drivers.
  • Manages and resolves all driver questions and concerns.
  • Acts as a liaison between drivers and management.
  • Reviews driver files and recommends to Assistant Director of Driver Relations whether action is required.
  • Responsible for driver attendance, payroll information, gratuity records, uniform orders.
  • Resolve operational and customer complaints.
  • Actively work with other Driver Managers.
  • Collaborate with other departments including Scheduling, Cashiers, and Dispatchers to resolve issues.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as requested.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Experience: Extensive background in employee management and customer service.
Skill at: Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of: Greater Orlando area.
Licenses: Florida Driver's License.

Requirements: Flexible hours, weekends, and holidays are required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships with drivers and colleagues.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, following and maintaining workplace confidentiality and privacy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn and become proficient in other programs. Knowledge of Samsara, Santa Cruz, AS400 desirable.
  • Must be able to access, enter and retrieve information from a computer system, and 10-key calculator.
  • Must be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
  • Must be able to communicate by telephone, two-way radio system, and in person in clear fluent English in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner with drivers, customers, co-workers, and other persons.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend driver files, receipts, correspondence, inter-office communications and other documents.
