Job Summary

As a strategic business partner to the commercial organization, you will lead commercial operations, advanced analytics, and data governance across key pricing, customer, rebate, freight, and master data processes. In this role, you will drive data integrity, reporting excellence, and process optimization while transforming complex data into actionable insights that fuel commercial strategy and decision-making.
Serving as a subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to enhance business performance, streamline operations, and ensure the flawless execution of commercial objectives.

Analytics amp; Business Support

  • Develop and deliver advanced reporting, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable insights into sales performance, revenue, pricing, inventory, order activity, customer profitability, and commercial effectiveness
  • Analyze commercial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers, providing recommendations to sales leadership
  • Lead complex ad hoc analyses and business modeling efforts to support strategic planning, pricing decisions, customer initiatives, and operational improvements
  • Investigate data and report discrepancies, determine root causes, and drive timely resolution to minimize business impacts
  • Support audit activities through preparation of accurate reporting, documentation, and analytical evidence
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to commercial leadership by translating data into strategic recommendations that drive business outcomes

Operations amp; Systems Management

  • Govern commercial pricing, freight, customer agreements, payment terms, rebates, and Commercial Information Request (CIR) processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely execution
  • Lead rebate administration activities including validation, calculation, reporting, approval management, and payment processing
  • Manage commercial master data, customer setup, routing, pricing, product configurations, and related system data to ensure accurate execution and reporting
  • Establish and monitor controls, documentation, and governance standards to maintain data integrity, consistency, and compliance across commercial systems
  • Serve as a primary escalation resource for complex commercial operations issues and partner with relevant teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements that increase efficiency, scalability, reporting capabilities, and data quality

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the commercial operations subject matter expert for systems, processes, reporting, and business data
  • Build strong partnerships across functions to achieve commercial objectives and resolve complex operational, data, and customer-related issues
  • Influence stakeholders through insights, recommendations, and data-driven solutions that support business decision-making
  • Deliver training, guidance, and knowledge-sharing while championing process governance, standardization, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, business analytics, or related functions
  • 2+ years of experience with pricing administration, rebate management, master data and commercial analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools used for reporting, modeling, and business decision support
  • Proficiency with ERP, CRM, reporting, and commercial operations systems, with the ability to quickly learn and optimize new technologies and processes (i.e. Elixir, CRM/SalesTrackR, Candesce, EdiStok)
