Security Officer Driver Operations

As a Security Officer Driver Operations in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, tenant spaces as assigned, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
