Security Officer Driver Operations

As a Security Officer Driver Operations in Elwood, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Driving Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support a welcoming, orderly environment through clear communication and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
