Job Purpose:

In your role as a Logistics Driver Coordinator, you will help facilitate the operations of the waste cycle and work as a liaison between customers and drivers. In this role you communicate over the phone, via chat, video, while monitoring technology to ensure efficient service to our customers in residential and commercial lines of business. You will work as team to drive enhancements in both our customer and driver experience by providing real time logistics support in a dynamic environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Compiles carrier and route assignments
  • Provides support for both drivers as they complete their routes and the customers, they service throughout the day
  • Responds to and resolves complaints and problems
  • Interacts with employees and outside customers via phone, Microsoft Teams chat and video.
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics team, customer service representatives, quality personnel, and other internal teams involved in the waste removal cycle
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of daily waste removal routes
  • Participates in continuous improvement training and assists with training drivers on new procedures.
  • Remotely monitors waste storage areas, waste documentation, equipment, and procedures from our corporate office in Clinton Township, MI
