Combi-Lift Driver - Logistics
Company: Freeman Enclosure Systems
Location: Batavia, Ohio
Position: Combi-Lift Driver / Logistics

Position Summary
Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Combi-Lift Driver to join our logistics and manufacturing team in Batavia, Ohio.
The Combi-Lift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of multi-directional Combi-Lift forklifts to transport long, bulky, and heavy materials throughout our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. This position plays an important role in keeping production moving by ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate areas safely, accurately, and on time.
The ideal candidate will have prior material handling or warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate equipment in a busy manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Operate multi-directional Combi-Lift forklifts to safely transport long and bulky materials throughout the facility.
  • Move materials such as steel panels, enclosures, and other large materials between storage, staging, and production areas.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, storage areas, and production locations.
  • Properly secure, position, and handle materials to prevent damage to products, equipment, and facilities.
  • Deliver materials to production areas according to work orders and production requirements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to respond to material requests promptly.
  • Inspect forklift and equipment before operation and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of pedestrians, other equipment, overhead obstructions, and changing work conditions.
  • Follow proper material-handling procedures and maintain organized storage areas.
  • Complete required paperwork, work orders, or material movement documentation accurately.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and established operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
