Job description:
Terradyne Group LLC is a leading Erosion Control and Full SWPPP Compliance company with over 30 years of experience in the DFW area. We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Construction Driver/Laborer. Our reputation is built on honesty, integrity, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service, and we are committed to providing a safe, professional and satisfying work environment for our employees.
We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, personable, logical, safety-oriented, a good listener, and mindful. If you are a construction worker and are looking for a career opportunity in Erosion Control, read on to learn more about this exciting position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily laborer and operation of a 1-ton truck with a variety of trailers, mainly 18' pipe rail and 18' Dump trailer, to deliver materials, supplies, equipment, and personnel. *this is our main role to fullfill. Those with experience with with a goose-neck dump trailer will be considered first
  • Load/unload bulk materials and heavy supplies from the dispatch yard, using light machinery like Skid Steers, Laymor Sweepers, and small Tractors (training can be provided).
  • Work as a laborer at the job site, either independently or as part of a crew.
  • Inspect trucks, trailers, and machinery for safety concerns daily and report any non-safe observations to management.
  • Safely transport crew workers, tools, machines, and supplies from job site to job site (approximately 60-80 miles per day).
  • Be a part of the crew labor force and assist the laborers in the field while on the job.
  • Be flexible, personable, logical, safety-oriented, attentive, and mindful.
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • May be required to pass a drug screening test.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (rain, sun, cold, heat).
  • Must be willing to be both a driver and laborer.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to walk on uneven terrain.
  • Must be willing to work long 10-hour days and follow company health and safety rules.
  • Spanish language skills a plus, but not required.
  • CDL license is NOT required.
