Palmetto Woods is a busy mobile home subdivision located 1 mile from Shaw AF base. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Helper to join our growing team! 
Responsibilities 
  • Assist the maintenance Technician in everyday tasks and general upkeep
  • Perform home repairs, including sheetrock, painting, flooring, plumbing, and minor electrical work.
  • Outdoor Maintenance to include community landscaping, maintenance of company equipment, outdoor painting, and power washing; Roofing or home repairs sometimes necessary.
  • Submit record of work completed, and complete maintenance repair logs for equipment as needed. 
  • Participate in weekly safety meetings and maintain a safety-first approach. 
  • Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Able to do data entry on a smartphone or tablet
  • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems helpful
  • Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
  • Must have a current Driver's License and a vehicle, preferably a truck, in working condition
