This position offers $1100-1200/ week based on performance and experience. Weekends required.

We are a FedEx Contractor with 16 years experience in the industry. We are looking for a responsible, energetic, and reliable Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. We are looking for motivated individuals who want a permanent job. This job requires hard work and a sense of urgency on a daily basis. Training will be provided for 1-2 weeks or as needed that includes shadowing another driver and working as a driver helper. Training will be compensated at a Driver Helper rate.


FedEx terminal is conveniently located in South San Francisco two blocks from San Bruno Bart station and two blocks from Cal Train.

Full time, permanent position, includes weekends: Wednesday through Sunday or Tuesday through Saturday schedules available. Long term desired.

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
  • Valid driver’s license class C
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations in the past 3 years, no DUIs, no cell phone tickets
  • Clean criminal background references (no misdemeanors, no felonies)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be at least 21 years’ old
  • Must be able to lift 75+ pounds

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
  • Follow routes and time schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
  • Collect payments
  • Inform customers about new products and services
  • Complete logs and reports
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
