Job description

As a delivery driverhelper, you will ride along in a box truck DOT-regulated vehicle and be part of a motivated team that safely delivers Amazon packages to customers in your community every day. Helpers will assist the driver in loading the truck in the morning, helping with navigation from stop to stop, delivering packages and end of shift activities to name a few things.


Location:[8050 Vista Reserve, Orlando, FL 32829]


Compensation:[$18.00 per hour]


Shifts:Shift start times between 10:15am-11:00am

What Youll Do as a Helper:

  • Be a team player and assist the driver of a 16 or 26 Box Truck with the delivery, pickups as well as loading and unloading packages weighing up to 300lbs. (team lift)
  • Assist the driver in watching for any safety hazards on the road as well as navigation and communication with dispatch throughout the day.
  • Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner in the form of a deluxe delivery service across home furnishings, outdoor grills, and other large products.
  • Full time shifts 4-5 days per week
  • Part time shifts available 2-4days per week


What Youll Need

  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
  • Must be a Florida resident with a valid Florida ID or drivers license.
  • Must complete pre-employment screening & verification; including,but not limited to, motor vehicle records check, references, etc.
  • Follow a mapped delivery route, track and report working hours and breaks at appropriate times, adhere to all safety policies, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with all weather and conditions.
  • Must be able to maneuver boxes weighing between 50 and 300lbs. (team lift), with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prior experience with loading and unloading trucks in a warehouse/factory setting required.
  • Must have open availability. Meaning you must be able to work any schedule, 7 days a week, including weekends.
