The regular work schedule is set from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying specific emotional and psychological needs to tailor interventions accordingly.
• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions that address the unique emotional challenges associated with aging, such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
• Create and implement educational programs for staff and family members, equipping them with strategies to promote the emotional welfare of elderly individuals.
• Provide specialized grief and loss counseling for residents and their families confronting end-of-life issues, offering support through difficult transitions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all ethical and legal standards related to mental health practice.

The primary focus of our services is on senior adults who may be dealing with a range of mental health concerns fueled by aging, including grief, anxiety, life transitions, and other age-related challenges. • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have completed a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
• Must be license eligible by the state of Florida.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing is necessary for potential in-person engagements.
• Exceptional communication skills that enable quick rapport-building with clients, fostering trust and openness.

• Robust organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in managing client cases and documentation.

• Experience working specifically with the elderly population is highly preferred, especially in a counseling or therapeutic capacity.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies.
