Job Summary:

Oliver Inc.is seeking a reliable and safety-focusedDelivery Driver/Shipping Receiving Clerkto join our team. This role is responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to customers across Massachusetts. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of regional routes, DOT regulations, and shipping/warehouse operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced route driver, delivery driver, or commercial truck driver seeking a consistent early morning schedule with no weekends and daily home time.

Schedule:Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role

As our**Delivery Driver/Shipping Receiving Clerk,**you will:

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (lights, oil, fuel, tires, etc.) to ensure vehicle safety andDOT compliance
  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products on scheduled local routes
  • Plan efficient delivery routes based on urgency, traffic patterns, and cost-effectiveness
  • Obtain and verify delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and shipping documents
  • Load and unload trucks as needed; ensure all products are properly secured for transport
  • Verify product counts and ensure accuracy against shipping documentation
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, mileage records, and compliance with allDOT regulations
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs with leasing/service providers
  • Support dailyshipping and warehouse operationswhen not on the road

You're a fit for the role ofDelivery Driver/Shipping Receiving Clerk,if your background includes:

  • ValidDriver's License(required)
  • Minimum age of 21 (per DOT requirements)
  • Experience as atruck driver, delivery driver, or route driverpreferred
