Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift: 11:00am - 7:30pm
Note: Daily quit times may sometimes be later depending on when the last driver arrives or is due to arrive back at the warehouse.

Position Purpose:
Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers!
As a Coordinator, Driver Check in, you will play a vital role in ensuring our drivers are checked-in accurately and all returned products are processed accordingly. As the Coordinator, Driver Check in, you will be responsible for checking in Delivery Drivers and ensuring the accuracy of the check-in and returns process. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Help offload trucks returning from routes.
  • Check in drivers' paperwork as well as any checks picked up from accounts
  • As returns are checked in, they are to be palletized then tagged and taken to the dry room to be processed.
  • Make sure all refrigerated/frozen product returned from same day delivery is handled and stored properly.
  • Sort and palletize empty totes and crates and stage for warehouse to distribute to pick lines.

Required Qualifications
High School or GED equivalent required
Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills are a must.
Able to stand and/or walk 90% of the shift, safely lift and stack totes up to six high, frequently lift and/or move light and heavy totes/product. Occasionally lift product up to 50lbs.
Operate manual pallet jack to move pallets of merchandise. Opportunity to obtain powered industrial truck certification will be provided.
Accurately maintain forms and logs
Must be able to read and write in English
Familiar with Microsoft Outlook for email purposes
Strong attention to detail
Training in DCMS will be provided
Preferred Qualifications
6+ months of experience with forklifts, or willing to be trained/certified
6+ months in a warehouse environment
1+ years in warehouse environment and interfacing with customers within foodservice industry
