About the Role

The Delivery Driver Assistant works alongside the Delivery Driver to complete deliveries and pickups in a courteous and professional manner, with a strong focus on safety and security.Please note that this role requires flexibility as the shift requires travel on a two-day route and overnight stay in a hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with prompt and courteous pickups and deliveries.

  • Load and unload the truck as required.

  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.

  • Participate in meetings and training sessions.

  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate and processed correctly.

  • Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to locate and pick items for customer orders

  • Build and assemble customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Verify the accuracy of picked orders and ensure that all picked orders are properly labeled and staged for shipping

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment

  • Collaborate with other team members to meet daily production goals

Communication

  • Maintain professional and positive communication with teammates, customers and store personnel.

  • Report and document concerns promptly to the supervisor.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous delivery or warehouse experience is an asset.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout your full shift and move heavy items safely.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

  • Tuesday-Saturday: 4:00 pm start, return next day
