Adult Day Program Driver Assistant

Our Adult Program Driver Assistants enjoy consistent schedules, guaranteed minimum hours, strong PTO growth, and meaningful work, supporting adult passengers with care, dignity, and respect.
Unlike school bus positions, this role operates 12 months a year with no unpaid school breaks.

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist adult passengers with physical, emotional, or mobility needs
  • Ensure safe boarding, seating, and exiting from the vehicle
  • Monitor passenger well‑being throughout the route
  • Communicate professionally with drivers, dispatch, supervisors, and program staff
  • Follow all safety procedures, route instructions, and company policies
  • Provide a calm, respectful, and supportive presence at all times

  • Able to pass a non‑DOT drug test and physical

Schedule & Pay Stability
  • Guaranteed minimum: 20 hours per week

  • Routes may offer additional hours
  • Consistent work all year: no unpaid breaks
