Description

Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors to work as Retail Merchandisers for a project in Culpeper, VA paying $21/hr. This is a retail-focused role requiring prior retail merchandising experience. You will support a large retail reset by replacing pricing labels and organizing back stock.

Schedule & Hours
  • Pay: $21 per hour
  • Dates: July 24th, 2026
  • Start Time: 2:00 PM
  • Shift Length: 8 hours (Unpaid Lunch Break)
  • Arrival: Must arrive 15 minutes early
Responsibilities
  • Check in with the Store Manager upon arrival and sign the timesheet to ensure accurate payment. 
  • Limit phone use during your shift. Only use your phone to start your visit in the app and to take the required logbook photos upon arrival and before leaving the store. 
  • Maintain a clean work area by cleaning shelves, sweeping, and removing trash as needed. 
  • Organize back stock into totes or crates and label them accurately. 
  • Perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. 
  • Follow the planogram (POG) and pricing labels carefully throughout the project. 

Requirements (Must Have)  

  • Experience: Proven retail merchandising experience 
  • Physical Ability: Lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods 
  • Technology: Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App 
  • Other: 18+, valid driver's license, reliable transportation 
  • Dress Code : Business casual: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plain shirt or polo. Not allowed: shorts, tank tops, graphic shirts, sandals, dirty clothing, or personal phone use on the sales floor
