About the Role:

The Irrigator II plays a critical role in managing and optimizing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use across nursery operations. This position involves implementing and maintaining irrigation plans that maximize crop yield while conserving water resources. The Irrigator II will assist in efforts to monitor soil moisture levels, assess water distribution, and troubleshoot system issues to maintain optimal irrigation performance. Ultimately, this this role ensures that water resources are used responsibly to support productive and environmentally sound farming practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation within an agricultural setting
  • Experience with irrigation system operation and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of soil science, hydrology, and crop water management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in irrigation technology or related agricultural training
